Indonesia’s national banks will adjust their operating schedules during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr holidays, which fall between March 18–24, 2026.
This adjustment follows Bank Indonesia (BI) policy, which will suspend most banking services during the holiday. BI services that will not operate include cash services, rupiah and foreign exchange monetary operations.
“All operational activities of Bank Indonesia will fully resume on Wednesday, March 25, 2026,” BI stated in its official announcement on Monday, March 9, 2026.
However, the central bank has allowed each bank to set its own operating schedule.
National Bank Closure Dates
Referring to the Joint Decree of Three Ministers (SKB 3 Menteri), here is the detailed holiday schedule for major banks in Indonesia such as Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Central Asia (BCA), and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI):

Although bank offices will adjust their schedules, Bank Indonesia confirmed that non-cash transactions via the BI-FAST system will continue to operate fully throughout the national holiday and collective leave period for Eid al-Fitr 2026.
