The third part of the East ASEAN Business Conference was held recently with the theme of “Building Smart and Resilient Cities for Growth.” The event was organized by the European Chamber of Commerce Philippines (ECCP) and actively participated and supported by EuroCham Indonesia.
This conference was aimed at promoting sustainable regional development and supporting economic growth through policies as well as to present solutions to build resilient cities. It was a unique opportunity to bring specialists from the region to discuss issues of mutual concern and relevance.
Opened by Lars Wittig (Country Manager of IWG plc) and moderated by Tony Peralta (Holy Cross of Davao College), the event had a wide array of panellists including Per Fredrik Ecker (Executive Board of EuroCham Indonesia and Managing Director of Seven Stones Indonesia), who highlighted the congestion sorting system and regulatory issues in Jakarta.
Other speakers included Arch. Felino A. Palafox, Jr. (Principal Architect-Urban Planner and Founder of Palafox Associates), Paulo Duarte (Managing Director of Bosch Philippines), and Stamatis Kotouzas (Senior Land Administration Specialist of the World Bank).
