Uriep Budhi Prasetyo, Main Director of KSEI, (Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia); a Self-Regulatory Organization providing central custodian services and settlement of securities transactions, said the spread of investors in Indonesia is supported by the ease of opening accounts and socialization.
According to reporting, as of November 18, 2022, investments in Java reached IDR 3,468.43-trillion of assets; Sumatra reached IDR 82.29-trillion; Kalimantan recorded IDR 58.12-trillion; Sulawesi reached IDR 9.38-trillion; Bali, NTT and NTB rose to IDR 10.46-trillion; and Maluku and Papua hit IDR 3.44-trillion.
