Red and White Cabinet Retreat Builds Synergy and Discipline

In an official release on the website of The President of The Republic of Indonesia, the Red and White Cabinet Retreat at the Magelang Military Academy was a memorable moment for the cabinet ranks who participated in morning exercises, marching exercises, and briefings. This activity not only tested physical strength but also strengthened bonds between cabinet members, aligned visions, and formed solidarity as a team.

One of them is the Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo who considered this activity as an effective step in aligning the working frequency of ministers in the cabinet. “The impression is very good, I think this is a very effective step in how we in this Red and White cabinet can align steps and frequencies,” said Dito.

Minister of Youth and Sports Dito also emphasized the importance of humanitarian relations and bonds between cabinet members. According to him, this approach accelerates synergy to realize President Prabowo’s goal of forming a fast and effective cabinet.

“So, this accelerates because the President wants the Red and White Cabinet to work quickly and effectively,” said Dito.

Meanwhile, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar considered this activity useful for training solidarity and unifying the cabinet’s vision. According to him, this is an important form of shock therapy, not only for cabinet members, but also for echelon officials in various agencies.

“I think the current training is not only important for the cabinet but also echelon 1 officials, echelon 2 officials in every agency, I think it is very good to do the same thing,” said Nasaruddin Umar.

On the other hand, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia highlighted the challenge of waking up early that he rarely did. However, he admitted that this discipline training is good for teaching responsibility in any situation and hopes that similar activities can be implemented in his ministry.

“Waking up in the morning is a bit of a hassle for me, usually we sleep at 2, wake up at 5 in the morning, after the morning we sleep again, then wake up at 7. Well, this is not the case, we sleep at 2, at 4 it already rings. But it’s good that life is disciplined, the responsibility of the country wants 2 hours, 1 hour of sleep, when the call of duty comes, must be ready,” said Bahlil.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi also emphasized the importance of teamwork. He likened the cabinet’s work to a football team, where each member has a different role, but works as one.

“The analogy is like a football team, there are those in front, those behind, those on the side, but all support as one unit,” said Prasetyo Hadi.

The retreat activity at the Magelang Military Academy emphasized the importance of togetherness, discipline, and unity of vision among the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet. With this new spirit, they are expected to be able to bring the government towards more solid and effective achievements.
