In 2026, the Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, will once again host the MotoGP World Championship.
The Indonesian MotoGP series is scheduled to take place over three days—Friday, October 9, Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026.
This confirmation was delivered by Troy Reza Warokka, Chairman of MotoGP Mandalika, who emphasized that there have been no changes to the schedule or the core components of the race organization.
“As of today, I can confirm that the schedule in Indonesia, at Mandalika, remains set for October 9, 10, and 11,” Troy said on Thursday (April 2, 2026).
No Ticket Price Increase
Troy also noted that public concerns regarding the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran have not proven to affect the international racing agenda at Mandalika.
According to Troy, the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) has not received any information about major disruptions impacting logistics or supply chains. In addition to the schedule, ticket prices are confirmed to remain as originally planned.
“There is no such thing as prices rising directly because of war. As of this afternoon, MGPA has not received any significant changes,” He emphasized.
On another note, the organizers are also finalizing the appointment of a new partner for ticketing technology.
Troy explained that the process must go through an open tender, as the management of MotoGP Mandalika falls under a state‑owned enterprise (BUMN).
“As a state‑owned enterprise, we are required to begin with a tender process. That process has just been completed. Out of six companies that participated, one candidate partner for ticketing technology has been selected,” he said.
Although the partner has been chosen, the company’s identity has not yet been announced and will be officially disclosed soon, alongside the launch of the ticket sales system.
