According to reporting from Liputan 6, Jakarta is gearing up to hold its second Formula E race on 3-4 June 2023 at the specially built Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC), Ancol, North Jakarta.
Sportstars.id say that around 400-people across eleven teams will be competing this year including ABT Cupra Formula E Team, Avalanche Andretti Formula E, DS Penske, Envision Racing, Jaguar TCS Racing, Mahindra Racing, Maserati MSG Racing, Neom Mclaren Formula E Team, NIO 333 Racing, Nissan Formula E Team and Tag Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.
Director of Commerce and Operations of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Ivan Cahya Permana confirmed that President Joko Jokowi, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and a number of general chairmen of political parties and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono will be present to witness the 2023 Formula E event, say Liputan 6.
