Bali Voted 3rd Best Island In The World In 2022

Detik Travel are reporting on the latest survey from readers of Travel+Leisure magazine in which Bali was voted the third best island in the world.

Twenty-five islands made the list with the winner being Ischia in Italy, second was the Maldives and third was Bali.

According to reporting, readers of Travel+Leisure,  saw the best islands in the world promise more than just a diving-snorkeling area with great views and virgin beaches.

All of those measures are proof that travelers aren’t just enthusiastic about exploring anymore. But they also re-examined what the island might need to be ideal.

Travel+Leisure said that “each year, for the World’s Best Awards survey, we ask readers to consider the traveling experiences of travelers around the world in order to share their thoughts on cities, islands, cruises, spas, airlines and more. Readers rate the islands according to activities and scenery, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.”

The majority of the most popular islands offer crystal sands and exquisite marine life that divers of all levels can explore. Examples are the Maldives (No. 2), Bali in Indonesia (No. 3), or Phuket Thailand (No. 7).

Readers can also flock to islands with their rich culture and food variety. Not only that, there are also ancient ruins and unrivalled food, for example in Mílos, Greece (No. 4) to nightlife in Ibiza, Spain (No. 17).

Readers’ enthusiasm for Phu Quoc in Vietnam (No. 14) earned it a spot on this list for its white sand beaches and delicious food. The island is famous for its fish sauce and pepper production, as well as its coral reefs and dense tropical forests.
